MOVE

What does that look like for you?
The one thing I know is that if you find the movement style that YOU love, then you will stick to it, you will improve your health, your skills and importantly your mindset.

Running, going to the Gym, swimming laps is NOT for everyone, (especially me!), but when you discover a passion for an exercise regime then you look forward to it - you dream about it, and you can't wait until your next session & be totally fluid with your exercise.

Upon reflection I have tried most things and each of them served me for that period in my life. I have embraced new skills and met like minded people along the way.

Irrelevant of AGE and ABILITY, We all need to move.

Whether you are improving your health, losing weight, gaining muscle, aiming to stay active and functional, or training for an event or a sport specific, you must MOVE your body.

Movement is what we need to stay upright, strong, and supple, agile and most of all functional for day to day life.

A simple way to start is with a STEPS goal. Whether it be 5000 or 10000 steps a day - just start doing more than you already are. Once you achieve that goal, move onto the next. 

Literally baby steps. Doing more today than you did yesterday is a WIN!

What can I eat?
That is the question I hear most.  There is a plethora of confusing information about what is good, what isn't, what  “superfood” you need, fasting, keto, vegan……. the list is endless

When you are embarking or reviewing your food plan, the first concepts to consider are:

  • What are you already doing?

  • What simple changes can you make to your existing eating plan?

  • Where do you feel the most improvement is needed?

  • How do you want to feel in 3 months?

One of the best things I did for my health and that of my family was to include supplementation into our day. Although we do a pretty good job, having the extra boost to bridge the gap between good nutrition and exceptional nutrition was just making one simple change.  Over 15 years of boosting has seen some great health benefits!
